Iran warns that “Iran would use its missiles if its security is threaten” as the elite force defied new U.S. sanctions on its missile program by holding a military exercise on Saturday.
“We are working day and night to protect Iran’s security,” head of Revolutionary Guards’ aerospace unit, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh was quoted as saying by Tasnim news agency. “If we see smallest misstep from the enemies, our roaring missiles will fall on their heads,” he added.
Iran held the military exercise on Saturday in Semnan province to test missile and radar system to showcase the power of Iran’s revolution and to discard the sanction, as per reported by force website.
Whereas tension has been grown between Tehran and Washington due to recent test of ballistic missile which exaggerate United States President Donald Trump‘s administration to impose sanction on individuals and entities connected with the revolutionary guard.
Donald Trump, has pointed out in his election campaign many times that he will stop Iranians missile program after winning elections.
Whereas, United States Security Council held an emergency meeting on Tuesday and recommended the missile testing be studied at committee level. The new U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, called the test “unacceptable”.
